Participants continued background treatment. These percentages come from the label’s analyses; they should not be mixed with post-hoc estimates that use different assumptions.
Individual responses vary. LDL and ApoB measure different things; these LDL percentages should not be used as ApoB estimates. Compare ApoB-lowering treatments.
How is enlicitide taken?
Lipfendra is taken as one 20 mg tablet in the morning on an empty stomach with water, black coffee, or plain tea. Wait at least 30 minutes before food or other beverages, and swallow the tablet whole. Food timing is part of the treatment regimen. Prescribing information.
How does enlicitide compare with other medications?
Lipfendra provides an oral alternative to injected PCSK9-directed treatments such as Repatha and Leqvio. A daily fasting routine may suit some people better than injections and others less well. Read more about Lipfendra and its fasting requirements.
Which medications can be combined with enlicitide?
This treatment can be used on top of a statin, often with Ezetimibe. Combining multiple PCSK9-directed drugs is not a routine strategy; switching agents is different from taking them together. The choice depends on the needed LDL reduction, dosing preference, and insurance requirements.
